Paver Laid Stabilisation Treatment, Pavement Recyclers

The process of paver laid stabilisation was chosen on Reserve Rd, Charlemont in Victoria due to the high productivity and sustainability benefits of this cementitious stabilisation treatment.

Over 13,000m2 of pavement was rehabilitated over 3 shifts allowing the spray seal to be applied and the road fully reopened within a week. This 20 year rehabilitation treatment recycled over 7,500 tonnes of existing basecourse material and reduced truck movements on the local road network by over 1,500 movements compared to the alternate design proposal.
