Scope
Sportsmans Drive is a high profile road which connects the local Westfield shopping complex with the local community, including numerous retirement villages, small businesses and the adjacent West Lakes – home to local rowing activities.

The project included pavement design input from SPA which resulted in a foamed bitumen recycled pavement utilising the existing granular pavement materials and some of the asphalt wearing course.
Whilst accommodating the adjacent stakeholders and regular bus movements, the project was delivered in April 2020 in the middle of initial COVID 19 impacts including state border closures which impacted logistics and programming.
